of "ASTANA" radio ham diploma

In honor of establishing of new capital of Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana city in 1994, members of «The radio club of KV and VHF hams» Public Association of Astana city and Akmola region have instituted «A S T A N A» radio ham diploma.

To receive radio ham diploma it is necessary to meet following conditions: to establish two-way connections with the radio ham stations of Astana city and Akmola region, prefixes UN1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0B, and also with stations UN7EX, UN7EV, UN7EP, UN7EAN, UN7ECK, UN7EAK, UN7EAS, UN7ECX, UN7ECY, UN7ECA, of the former Kokshetau region and to gain 100 points.

Connections can be carried out by all kinds of radiation on all amateur ranges. Each connection with individual radio station gives 3 points, with collective station 5 points. Observers receive diploma at supervision of not less than 30 radio stations.
Repeated connections and supervision with the same correspondent on different ranges is not supposed.
Candidates of "ASTANA" diploma should direct an extract from the message log, certified by two radio hams to diploma commission to the following address:

Post office box 88, Astana, 473000, Republic of Kazakhstan

"ASTANA" diploma is given out free-of-charge, but to send the diploma to the candidate’s address, it is necessary to enclose to the application 3 IRC coupons.
